David Begley has taught groups and individuals at all levels since 1990. Each student receives one to one tuition specific to their needs in a friendly one to one or group environment. David is an enthusiastic teacher who teaches by instruction and encouragement, helping you to develop your skills and your personal way of seeing and making. Areas of instruction include tonal drawing with burnt cork and home made charcoal, ink, pastel, composition, tone, line, colour, geometry, anatomy, grounds, under-painting, glazing, the making and using of traditional drawing tools and much more. Mediums include drawing, painting, printmaking, animation, sound, video.

2016 - 2017 Artist in resident in Cushinstown National School, Wexford: Living Arts Project in association with Wexford Arts Centre. Facilitated 5th and 6th classes in drawing, printmaking and film. The project culminated in an exhibition of monotypes, collage and animation by the children at Wexford Arts Centre in April 2017.
